Monarch Prep is a specialized educational program for neurodiverse students, including students with autism and related developmental differences. The program combines individualized academics with behavioral, social, communication, and life-skills support in a highly supportive environment.

Monarch serves school-age students, typically beginning around age 5 through high school age. Placement is based on individual needs, strengths, available programming, and program fit rather than age alone.

Students receiving insurance-funded ABA services generally need diagnostic documentation that meets the funder's requirements. If you are unsure whether an evaluation qualifies, contact Monarch to discuss what your insurer or funding source may require.

Because enrollment is limited, Monarch frequently maintains a waitlist. Completing the intake process does not guarantee immediate placement, but it allows the team to contact families as openings become available that align with a student's needs.

When an opening is being considered, the review may include a parent interview, record review, direct or play-based observation, and discussion of recommendations. The exact clinical and educational assessment steps depend on the student's needs, requested services, and funding requirements.

Awarding an American high school diploma is Monarch Prep's goal. Monarch Prep is currently a Candidate for Accreditation with the Middle States Association (MSA), and the school is actively completing the accreditation process.

Because Monarch Prep is not yet accredited, its plan to issue an accredited diploma depends on successfully completing that process. The school looks forward to reaching that milestone and celebrating its first graduating class.

Academic tuition is billed monthly and is based on scheduled academic hours. Current Crown Levels range from $500 to $2,500 per month. Families are encouraged to budget approximately $500 per month during the first 3-6 months; after the transition period, individualized tuition is often close to $1,000 per month but may be higher or lower.

Many families use insurance to help cover eligible ABA services provided by Tyler Behavior Studies. Coverage, authorizations, deductibles, copays, and coinsurance depend on the family's specific plan. Academic tuition is separate and is not billed as ABA.

Families are still encouraged to contact Monarch. The team can discuss possible pathways and alternative funding considerations, but only the insurer can confirm out-of-network benefits or whether a single-case agreement may be available.

Yes. Monarch Prep is an approved TEFA vendor. Eligible families may be able to use awarded TEFA funds toward approved educational services at Monarch Prep.

Yes. Monarch Preparatory provides individualized academic instruction. Students may also receive ABA services through Tyler Behavior Studies when clinically appropriate and funded. The services are provided and billed separately while the teams coordinate around the student's needs.

Code Ninjas offers an optional weekly coding program at Monarch when school is open. It requires separate enrollment and payment. Families should discuss readiness and fit with the student's BCBA and Monarch administration.

You may schedule an optional campus tour. Tours typically last about one hour and give families time to learn about the educational model, behavioral supports, application process, funding options, and daily programming. A tour is not required before starting the intake process.

Yes. Children are welcome to attend. Because tours are information-heavy, some families prefer to attend the first visit without their child. Either option is fine.
